AI4ALL is pleased to announce that our collaboration with Stanford University on our AI education program for young women in 9th grade will take on a new name for summer 2018: Stanford AI4ALL. The program, formerly called SAILORS, will run for the fourth time and will give participants the opportunity to learn about artificial intelligence in a hands-on and supportive environment alongside top faculty and grad students.
Students in Stanford AI4ALL will divide their time equally between studying the curriculum designed by AI4ALL and partaking in ongoing research projects at the Stanford AI Lab. This collaborative effort allows Stanford AI4ALL to provide young women with both the technical knowledge and hands-on research skills necessary to begin exploring the exciting world of AI research.
Stanford AI4ALL will run alongside 5 additional AI4ALL education programs around North America in summer 2018. Additional AI4ALL education program sites include: UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon University, Princeton University, Boston University, and Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, Canada. To stay up to date on information about all AI4ALL programs, sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Twitter, Facebook, or here on Medium.
