This week, the first of AI4ALL’s 6 summer programs launch with Stanford AI4ALL. Thirty rising 10th grade girls from around the world — everywhere from Kentucky to California to Turkey to Singapore—will spend the next 3 weeks getting hands on experience with AI. They’ll get the chance to collaborate with Stanford researchers and peers on human-centered AI projects, to think through the ethical challenges of AI, and to make new friends and uncover new interests.

In the coming weeks, AI4ALL summer programs will kick off at Carnegie Mellon University, Simon Fraser University, Princeton University, Boston University, and UC Berkeley, welcoming a total of 150 underrepresented high school young women and men from around the world.

For an in-depth view of the participant experience, check out Stanford AI4ALL’s blog, SFU AI4ALL: Invent the Future’s Instagram, and AI4ALL’s Twitter Moment, which will be updated over the course of the programs.
We can’t wait to see what our students (the future leaders of AI!) create this summer!
