Nicole Halmi builds bridges between people and technology. As Director of Strategic Initiatives at AI4ALL, she works to ensure that the next generation of AI leaders reflects humanity, translating complex conversations about technology, equity, and opportunity into tangible programs and partnerships.

Nicole’s career began in direct service, supporting young adults with developmental disabilities as they sought meaningful work. There, she learned that meaningful inclusion depends on listening deeply and helping people bridge worlds — between potential and opportunity, ability and access.

She later brought this same sensibility to Neon Labs, where she led communications and marketing and helped translate technical innovation into human stories — guiding the launch of AI-powered, patented video publishing tools for creators and brands.

Now, at AI4ALL, Nicole connects the human and the technical, translating between communities that may not share the same language: educators and engineers, students and executives, researchers and policymakers. She holds an A.B. in Modern Culture and Media from Brown University, where she studied how language and translation shape culture and power. Nicole has shared her insights on inclusive AI and the power of perspective at venues including the Teen Vogue Summit, AWS ImagineEDU, and the IBM Executive Forum for Senior Education Leadership.
