Yesenia Sanchez
Program Associate
Yesenia Sanchez is the Program Associate for AI4ALL. In this role, Yesenia works with program recruitment and marketing projects, supports recruitment partnerships, and assists with new program initiatives.
Yesenia is a proud first-gen and daughter of Mexican immigrants from a small rural border city, Somerton, AZ, but currently resides in Tucson, AZ. She has a Bachelor of General Studies in Social Behavior and Human Understanding from The University of Arizona.
Prior to joining AI4ALL, Yesenia worked at EAB as a Partner Relations Specialist with College Greenlight. During her time there, she collaborated with college access organizations that support first-gen and underserved students to facilitate partnerships and resources that enhance students’ college readiness and success. Before EAB, Yesenia worked in higher education as an academic advisor and academic success coach where she guided students toward holistic growth, and academic/career achievement as well as crafted and executed retention-focused workshops. Her commitment and passion to be an advocate for historically excluded students to achieve their full educational potential is what led her to the important work and mission that AI4ALL is doing.
In her free time, Yesenia loves to read books by BIPOC authors, go to the movies with her wife to catch the latest release, and try new local food joints.
