Alvaro Rojas-Caamano is the University Partnerships Manager of College Pathways at AI4ALL. In this role, Alvaro manages relationships with universities and supports AI4ALL’s overall mission by contributing to the scaling of the program.

Before joining AI4ALL, Alvaro worked in the higher education field for over 15 years, both managing partnerships at education management organizations, and within universities as a staff member. Most recently, Alvaro worked at Columbia University’s engineering school, where he oversaw the student engagement/life programming for over 2,000 graduate students–from onboarding to graduation.

Alvaro has a B.A. in Psychology from Montclair State University and a M.A. in International Education from New York University.

Alvaro believes that cultivating a more diverse and inclusive space in AI will become increasingly important as the industry and its technology evolve. Additionally, he hopes to contribute to the work that facilitates a more empathic dialogue between industry leaders and the greater community in terms of how new and emergent technologies can impact at-risk populations.
